A few years ago the family Petrazzuoli decided to give back vitality, power, and beauty to a territory, which has been forgotten for a very long time.

In a silent and charming village surrounded by the nature, vineyards, very close to the marvellous Gulf of La Spezia, on the silent hills from where you can enjoy a breath-taking view: in the South-East the sea, in the South-West the village Vezzano Ligure, and in the North the Magravalley, is located this beautiful and cozy farmhouse called “Il Fienile”'agricultural company Spagnoli” (deriving from the surname).

The “Casa dei venti” is the result of a recent thorough renovation, and it is ready for its first season as holiday house, just as desired by the owners Laura and Elisa. It is a characteristic house for the region Liguria, in a small village with a few other houses on a hill of a height of 450 meters. The “Casa dei venti” offers a marvelous panorama which is unique among the villages of the Vara Valley, as you can see from every corner of the house the sea of the Poets’ Gulf as far as the horizon.

Six years ago Mariette Goemans (originally from Holland, but today she is almost Italian), visited a friend in this territory, and it was love at first sight with an old farmhouse of the end of the 19th/beginning 20th century. Mariet searched for a building suitable for housing guests, and this spacious building was for sale.
